The fourth of the Social Contribution Seminars initiated by our University's Social Affairs and Social Contribution Coordinatorship was held. Our University's School of Foreign Languages Lecturer Annelise Marshall attended the event titled "Academic Exchange Programs in the US" as a speaker.
The event titled "Academic Exchange Programs in the US", organized in connection with "Inclusive and Qualified Education", which is among Gazi University's Social Contribution Priority Areas, was held online and in English.
Annelise Marshall, who has been working at Gazi University School of Foreign Languages for two years with exchange programs, gave information about exchange programs in America and their benefits, application processes and experiences. Lecturer See. Annelise Marshall emphasized the cultural gain and travel opportunities of exchange programs, as well as the contributions of colleagues and students to getting to know each other and professional development.
Providing information about the Fulbright program, Marshall said that the program covers travel expenses, tuition fees and living expenses. Annelise Marshall stated that there are a total of 6 programs in this context, including master's, doctoral, academic visitor, post-doctoral program, doctoral thesis research scholarships and foreign language teaching programs, and explained her tips for getting accepted to the programs.
