The second Social Contribution Seminar initiated by our University's Social Affairs and Social Contribution Coordinatorship was held. Assoc. Prof. Özden Demirkan, faculty member of Gazi Education Faculty, Department of Educational Sciences, attended the event titled "Lifelong Learning and Adult Education" as a speaker.
Assoc. Prof. Özden Demirkan said, “What is lifelong learning and why is it important? What will it bring us? What kind of studies are being done on this subject in Turkey and in the world? What are the basic features and elements of lifelong learning, lifelong learning skills? What is the relationship between the concepts of lifelong learning and adult education? He focused on topics such as "Adult education model (Andragogy)". Assoc. Prof. made an entertaining and informative presentation. Dr. Demirkan carried out applications with the participants using word cloud, kahoot and padlette metaphor activities.
